Sonkar Fashions grew out of a frustration — finding clothes in India that were well cut, well priced, and didn't fall apart after three washes shouldn't be this hard. Founded by Rupesh Sonkar under the firm R Sonkar & Co, we set up our first studio in Palasiya, Indore, with a simple goal: make clothes for Indian men and women that fit well and last long.
We started small — a couple of sewing machines, one patterner, and a lot of test batches that never made it out of the studio because they didn't meet our fit standards. That discipline is what we carry forward today.
Every piece you see on Sonkar Fashions has been through the same process: fabric sourcing from a mill we've tested, pattern cutting in-house, a sample run, wear-testing over a week, fit corrections, and only then — the production run. We work in small batches because small batches let us catch problems before they reach you.
We don't mark prices up just to mark them down in a "sale". Our prices are set honestly from day one. When we discount, it's real and usually small.
A badly-fitting ₹10,000 shirt is worse than a well-fitting ₹800 one. We obsess over cut and drape.
No inflated MRPs. No manufactured urgency. What you see is what the piece is worth.
